QR Code Reader - Privacy Policy
The QR Code Reader for Form add-on requires you to grant permissions to several services associated with your Google Account. It uses the simple and secure OAuth 2 protocol to get data from the user’s Google account and does not have access to your account password.
1. Information We Collect
Personal Information Provided by You
In Short: We collect personal information that you provide to us.
Since our Google add-ons only work with Google products, a Google account is required for authentication and login. Our Google add-ons collect your email address for the first authentication in the application. Authentication is performed by Google itself using the default authentication method. Our add-ons, without this authentication, will not work properly. Authentication can be revoked by the user at any time. In order to provide services to you, your email address must be used to send you communications, such as confirmation emails and support updates. Your email address will be used to activate your license.
We do not share, track, or sell your personal and business information to third parties.
The personal information we collect may include:
Personal Information Provided by You: Names, email addresses, form configuration, and data. The form data is encrypted and saved to our endpoint. The form data is encrypted and stored on secure servers in the USA. We are designed as a Google Workspace Marketplace application, but we don’t access any data in your Google email account (@gmail.com). Once you install our app through Google Workspace Marketplace, you will be able to login to our app.
Payment Data: When paying for a service, we use Stripe or Paypal, which requests your last name, first name, postal address, country, and credit card details. Your credit card details are transferred directly to Stripe’s or Paypal payment processor and never pass through our servers. Stripe and Paypal handles payment processing for millions of companies worldwide.
When you email support with a question, we will save that conversation and email address for future reference. We also retain any information that you voluntarily provide, such as surveys, for as long as we need.
All personal information that you provide to us must be true, complete and accurate, and you must notify us of any changes to such personal information.

The app will not collect your information only with your consent; it only collects the minimum amount of information that is necessary to operate the add-on.
No humans will read any of your data including email messages. If you require technical help, the app may ask you to share your add-on settings with the developer for support.
The app will not store your data on non-Google servers. All your settings are stored on Google servers inside the property store of the Google project associated with the addon.
The app will not use any of your data for market research, advertising, serving personalized content, retargeting, or recommendations.
The App will only use access to Gmail to send emails on your behalf and will not use your data for any other purpose.
We will not transfer or share your information with others unless doing so is necessary to provide and improve these features, comply with applicable law, or as part of a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets.
Google sign-in will authenticate your identity and provide you the option to share certain personal information with us such as your email address. The information you provide is held in strict confidence. We collect this information to generate your user license, send payment receipts and communicate with the user about product updates.
If your personal information changes, or if you no longer desire our service, you may delete or deactivate it by uninstalling our Google add-on or by contacting us. We will respond to your request within 5 business days.
We use other third parties payment processor, such as PayPal to bill you for services and live chat service to assist you if you have questions while using our website or regarding your order. We neither store nor have access to your credit card details.

4. Data Retention and Usage
We retain data only for the educational purposes for which it was collected. Once the data is no longer needed, it will be securely deleted.

Parents and guardians have the right to request the deletion of any student data collected through our add-on. To make such a request, please contact us and we will process your request promptly.

In Short: We aim to protect your personal information through a system of organizational and technical security measures.
We have implemented appropriate technical and organizational security measures designed to protect the security of any personal information we process. However, despite our safeguards and efforts to secure your information, no electronic transmission over the Internet or information storage technology can be guaranteed to be 100% secure. 2HAC Studio Add-on uses and transfers information received from Google APIs in accordance with Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
